Meet Dr. Brett

Dr. Rhodes earned his bachelor’s degree in microbiology and his master’s degree in biological sciences from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. After four years serving youth as collegiate campus minister, he relocated to Virginia and earned his Doctor in Dental Surgery (D.D.S) from Virginia Commonwealth University (MCV). Dr. Rhodes pursued a residency heavy in periodontal surgery and prosthetics, earning an advanced education in general dentistry (AEGD) at the Birmingham VA Medical Center.

Dr. Rhodes has volunteered his time at many of the local free clinics in the area including the Bradley Clinic, Fralin Clinic and free clinic in Botetourt. He is also highly committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance his skills to better serve the dental care needs of his patients and provide them with a gentle and comfortable dental experience.

In his free time, Dr. Rhodes loves to spend time with his wife, Natasha, and their seven children. He and his family love to spend time outside, whether at their home in Botetourt County, or at one of the many beautiful places in the Roanoke Valley that drew them here. Dr. Rhodes also loves to hike, camp, fish, visit the local breweries, and work in his yard.
